This walking tour of Washington Park coincides with Celebrating South Side Stories, a day-long festival of art, music, film and food at the Du Sable Museum. Washington Park was conceived as the Western Division of South Park, an enormous greenspace designed by Frederick Law Olmsted, “Father of American Landscape Architecture.” This tour will explore Washington Park’s landscape history and public artworks including Lorado Taft’s Fountain of Time. Registration is required.
